Co-op vs. AI is a game way in League of Legends where a team of players are matched against a squad of figurer-controlled champions commonly known equally bots. The team sizes are the aforementioned as in normal histrion versus player matches, but the multifariousness of game modes has been reduced.

Description

Co-op vs. AI is available on Summoner's Rift. There are three difficulties to choose from: Intro, Beginner, and Intermediate. Players can queue lonely or in groups. The Commencement Win of the Solar day mission is available, and normal and ranked MMR are unaffected.

Co-op vs. AI feel rewards are based on level.

  • Level 20+ summoners can but earn 75% of the normal Co-op vs. AI rewards afterwards 180 minutes.
  • Co-op vs. AI does not grant Champion Mastery points.
  • The following modifiers are practical based on summoner level and time played in a solar day:

Bots accept different behavior and advantages depending on the difficulty selected. Some behavior is standard, regardless of difficulty selected. Most notably the bots volition not jungle or pursue creep buffs, though the bots on the Twisted Treeline map will actively acquire chantry and pad buffs located effectually the map. The other universal behavior is a faster revive time if killed. Bots will occasionally send preset chat messages at the beginning and end of games.

Intro

  • Bots are trapped inside their fountain for a few minutes earlier joining the boxing.
  • Bots react much slower when it comes to running away due to low wellness or using abilities.
  • The bots ever use the same five champions: Nasus, Galio, Ryze, Alistar, and Ezreal.

History

The Co-op vs. AI former banner.

Co-op vs. AI was beginning announced on Leagueoflegends.com on January xx, 2011, as a new game style intended to prove a harder challenge and training method for players rather than just the bots available through the custom game option.

A lucifer showing a fight between some of the new bots versus mid-level Anarchism Employees was announced on February 4 to take place on Feb 9th. This battle was streamed through Own3d, and resulted on a close (and sketchy) victory for the Bots.

It was intended to be released on the calendar week following the V1.0.0.111 Patch, but it was delayed considering the European servers were not ready to take on the increased stress that would be caused by the game mode.

Information technology was finally released on a Thursday, on March 10. It supported 2 difficulty settings, Beginner and Intermediate, and a pool of 12 bots available simply on Summoner'due south Rift.

Rise of the Bots Update

On Jan 24, 2012, Anarchism released a news post announcing an update to the Co-op vs. AI game mode. This update was put in place on February 1, 2012, with the V1.0.0.133 patch. The new features and upgrades included the following:

  • More intelligent bots with increased map awareness, capability to employ skillshots as well as more than summoner spells and active items.
  • The flat IP penalization for Co-op versus AI games was removed. The rewards were too changed to make the manner more attractive.
  • Increased the roster of bots from 12 to 40. Too, more champions are being added in the subsequent patches regularly.

Bots AI Updates

This update[i] was put in place on April 16, 2014, within the V4.5 patch. The new features and upgrades included the following:
